The PILELAMP project is aimed at phasing-out of Incandescent Lamps and Adoption of Energy Saving Lamps by providing manufacturing and marketing support to producers, awareness to underserved areas in the country, and development of research and policy support. Ms. Umm e Zia led the Terminal Evaluation of the project.

Ms. Umm e Zia was contracted to conduct a project implementation review of the GEF funded Wind Energy Project in Pakistan. As an outcome of the review, the project was granted an extension of six months with revised timelines for achieving outstanding deliverables
Infrastructure Project Development Facility (IPDF)
Pakistan 2007
Assisted the local government of Charsadda to conduct a feasibility study of Municipal Solid Waste Management System. Undertook value chain analysis of the solid waste generated in the city, and analyzed socio-economic impact of project. Gender was a cross-cutting theme of the project.
Program Evaluation ILLM
Pakistan 2010
Evaluated the effectiveness and efficiency of Integrated Land Management (ILM) program, operational since 1982. Program components included matching grants, enterprise development, water management, rural infrastructure, environmental impact, and agriculture.
Business and Biodiversity Strategy
Pakistan 2005
Assisted the IUCN in implementation of the Business and Biodiversity Strategy by engaging the support of major corporations and CSR initiatives in Pakistan.
