The "Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity in the Northwestern Landscape (Boeny Region)" project is a 3-year GEF-funded project aimed at protecting biodiversity in 5 protected areas in Madagascar. The project requires an evaluation as per GEF policies. The purpose of the mid-term evaluation is to assess the design, implementation and achievement of objectives, and evaluate the project's performance in areas such as relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, management, sustainability, environmental and social safeguards, and monitoring and evaluation. The evaluation follows GEF Evaluation Criteria.

The UNDP Youth Empowerment Programme was launched in 2018 to address the challenges posed by the ‘youth bulge’ in Pakistan and lack of youth-focused development. The program has been implemented in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan Provinces with the aim of ensuring equal opportunities for youth participation in social, political, and economic development processes. The evaluation of the program was designed to put youth in a leading role and was based on the assessment criteria of the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) covering relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. Additionally, cross-cutting issues such as Gender Mainstreaming, Inclusion, and Innovation were also reviewed as part of the evaluation process. Youth were treated as partners throughout the evaluation process to benefit from their opinions about best practices.
