The Australia Pakistan Agricultural Scholarships (APAS) is a program funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and focused on the agricultural sector in Pakistan. The APAS Short Course Awards (SCAs) aim to develop change makers in key Pakistan agricultural institutions in priority fields such as irrigation and water resource management. Cynosure was responsible for delivering the third APAS SCA in irrigation and water resource management, in collaboration with the University of Queensland. The training was conducted in Australia and Pakistan and involved 25 Pakistani men and women. Cynosure managed project aspects at the Pakistan-end, such as training design, trainer identification, and Return to Work Plans.
Consultancy Services For Capacity Development Of Technical And Vocational Centers In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

JICA is supporting a capacity development project for the Technical and Vocational Centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The project is aimed at providing quality technical and vocational education and training services. JICA is supporting the Directorate of Technical Education and Manpower Training in Peshawar to enhance teachers' capacity in machinist and electrician trades. The project has three components, including development of a new teaching guide and equipment for technical teachers, master training at one center, and training of trainers at four centers. The project is aimed at stabilizing and developing the Pakistan-Afghanistan border areas.
