The GEF-funded project "Mainstreaming Climate Change Adaptation through Water Resource Management on Leather Industrial Zone Development" was implemented by UNIDO in Sialkot, Pakistan. It aimed to integrate climate change adaptation measures into urban development, support the construction of a CETP for tanneries, and raise awareness and build resilience among stakeholders. A Mid-Term Review was conducted by Cynosure Consultants to provide feedback on project performance and identify risks to sustainability, efficiency, and progress. The MTR was conducted through field visits, desk review of documents, interviews with project management and stakeholders, and in-depth discussions with project stakeholders.

The Gwadar-Lasbela Livelihoods Support Program aimed to reduce poverty in Gwadar and Lasbela by improving access to assets, skills, services and technologies for poor rural men and women. The project targeted 53,395 households in 451 villages and was implemented in the coastal districts of Pakistan by the provincial government of Balochistan. The IFAD Project Completion Review was conducted by Cynosure, using the IFAD PCR Guidelines and OECD DAC principles. The review involved a review of project data and reports, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions.
