A project funded by the German government and implemented by AHT Group AG, National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK), and Cynosure Consultants, aims to promote sustainable urban development through resilient resource management with a participatory approach in the Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. The objective is to integrate water supply, wastewater, and solid waste management through infrastructure scheme piloting using a systematic process. The project is an Accompanying Measure (AM). The role of Cynosure is to provide administrative support and provide local experts to the lead firm.

The Tools4LDN project was launched in 2019 with a USD 2 million grant to improve methods and tools for assessing land degradation and understanding socio-economic conditions of vulnerable communities. The project aimed to integrate free and open platforms to support country-level reporting to the UNCCD. Cynosure was commissioned to conduct a Terminal Evaluation of the project's performance. The evaluation was conducted through a consultative and participatory approach using mixed methodologies including key informant interviews and literature review. The evaluation aimed to provide a comprehensive and systematic account of the project's design, implementation, and achievement of objectives.
